The Project One website contains publicly available information about local government units and their business permit processes and requirements.

It serves as a one-stop information portal for individuals and organizations who plan to register a business, get or renew a business permit and/or is seeking for locations to set up their business in.

The website also provides a comprehensive information about local governments, which includes data on its competitiveness based on the City and Municipality Competitiveness Index (CMCI).

The Project One website and services are owned and hosted by the Department of Trade and Industry.

The Ease of Doing Business Law or Republic Act 11032 aims to further improve and speed up the delivery of government services by simplifying the issuance of permits and licenses.

It aims to promote transparency and cut red tape in the government for a more conducive business environment.
